Peakview Eagles Rock!
Our mission is to assist in attaining the highest level of education and welfare for the entire student body of Peakview Elementary through the cooperative efforts of the Faculty and Staff, the Cherry Creek District community and the parents.
Peakview's Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) is comprised of volunteer parents, teachers, and administrators who are passionate about positively impacting your child's education. Our amazing team of volunteers are committed to helping Peakview students thrive. We take our convictions and turn them into action. PTO funds enrich our children's educational experience. We organize events that bring us together during & outside of school hours to support the positive attitude of our community.

Our goal is to make this school year at Peakview AWESOME! We especially are dedicated to trying new ideas and giving Peakview students a variety of opportunities to deepen their sense of wonder and community, and for families to make new memories together!
We have MANY awesome ideas planned for this year including two new events; October Treat Trail and a Bingo Night/Silent Auction! We need parent support to make it all happen so we will take any and all the help we can get from volunteers (at school or from home), sponsors for events and fundraisers, and of course, donations.
We are holding monthly meetings that alternate between before and after school, in hopes to better fit a variety of schedules. Please come join us! (We were all first timers once too, so please feel welcome)
We have some amazing parents at our school and we appreciate each and every one of you!

Brittany Peterson
Co-President
Hello, I’m Brittany Peterson and I’m one of the CO-President for Peakview Elementary PTO. This is my first year on Peakview’s PTO and I’m looking forward to being more involved with our teachers, students and the families of Peakview Elementary. I have two kiddos that attend Peakview and they are in 1st and 3rd grade. I’m a part time hairstylist and barber at a local owned salon. My husband is a firefighter with the city of Arvada. Our family loves to travel, spending time with our extended families, be outside in nature as much as we can, and we love doing family movie nights! I am excited to be apart of the PTO and looking forward to the next school year!

My husband and I are both Cherry Creek School District grads as well. Our family loves to travel and spend time at the kids numerous sporting events. I work in Healthcare Administration and am very excited to become more involved in Peakview and the PTO after joining last year. I look forward to seeing you at all the fun events this year!

My name is Nicole Cehura and I am excited to serve my new role as vice president of Peakview PTO! I have a son entering first grade and a daughter entering third grade and have been part of the Peakview community since 2019. My now seventh grader attended Peakview from Kindergarten through 5th grade. I also have a daughter who is about to be a sophomore, the years really do fly by! I am going into my 11th year as a special education teacher at Eaglecrest High School, and am a proud alumni as well. In my free time I enjoy taking pictures and going on adventures with my family. I am excited to be part of the Peakview PTO and hope to bring new experiences and memories to the school community!
Sarah Mihalyi

My name is Sara and I have 2 boys going into 1st grade and 3rd grade. I am a 4th generation Colorado Native and I graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School. I work part time as a preschool teacher and I am a proud wife to a First Responder. In my free time, I am a parent mentor for Parent2Parent Colorado (an organization that connects families with children who have disabilities), I write a blog chronicling life with a medically complex child, and in the Summers, my husband and I coach our boys in baseball. Our family will soon go through training to become 'puppy raisers' for Freedom Service Dogs! Please say "hello" if you see me around at drop-off and pick up!
